About the Play​

 

In keeping with the creative values and mission of Project Nongenue, our well-received all-women production of Julius Caesar:
 

• Explored the intersection of gender and power in the political context of 2017.

• Examined the role and responsibility of the citizen as an audience member to the political stage.

• Centered women and other marginalized voices in a retelling of a foundational text about participation in government and the democratic process.
